Bilk Gallery has been showcasing contemporary Glass and metal for over 14 years. Established at Workshop Bilk in 2000 the gallery moved in 2010 to Manuka. The gallery space is now situated in the private studio of Helen Aitken-Kuhnen and Johannes Kuhnen.
Bilk Gallery brings together both the makers and public to create a dialogue and promote the best of young emerging artists as well as established internationally renowned artists. We aim to give a new value and concept to contemporary metal and glass and satisfy the need for an expression of individuality. The artists are chosen for their individuality of approach, use of materials, recognisable style and commitment to contemporary practice.
